Post-RN Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Post-RN BSN)

This 2-Year Post RN BSc Nursing Program at Zatti of Nursing is specifically designed for registered nurses who have already completed their Diploma in General Nursing, Diploma in Midwifery (or any other Post Basic Specialty for male nurses) and are duly registered with the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC). Eligibility also requires completion of at least Matriculation with Science Subjects (or an equivalent qualification).

This baccalaureate program focuses on enhancing professional nursing competencies with an emphasis on Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Health Assessment, Nursing Management, and other core Nursing Science subjects.  It is fully recognized by the Pakistan Nursing Council, and the qualification is officially recorded in the PNC registry upon successful completion. Graduates of this program are preferentially considered for employment opportunities, promotions, and leadership or managerial roles within healthcare settings.

 

Aims & Objectives of the Program

The primary aim of the Post RN BSc Nursing Program at Zatti of Nursing is to produce professionally competent, ethically sound, and scientifically knowledgeable nursing graduates who will:

  • Apply innovative thinking and develop effective solutions to complex health issues using scientific principles and evidence-based practices.
  • Promote community health through health education, disease prevention, curative care, and rehabilitation, thereby contributing to the overall well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
  • Acquire advanced knowledge, refine technical nursing skills, and demonstrate professional behaviors and attitudes in diverse healthcare environments.
  • Perform multifaceted roles including direct caregiver, health educator, team leader, manager, communicator, coordinator, and patient advocate, effectively responding to dynamic and evolving healthcare needs.
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care using creative and patient-centered approaches across a variety of clinical settings, in alignment with the country’s healthcare infrastructure and economic resources.
  • Utilize logical reasoning and critical thinking to make sound clinical judgments and ethical decisions in complex patient care situations.
